About
I love trying out new things, especially when it comes to internet technology. I never really kept a journal, but it's something that I've always wanted to do. Now, everybody will get a chance to look inside my twisted, and somewhat-warped mind. I've also subscribed to Audio Blog, so a few times a week, I'll leave actual voice blogs. Very cool!

World of Warcraft Screenshots

I have a sickness. It's pretty serious. I am utterly addicted to a game called World of Warcraft. The game genre follows the tradition of Blizzard games such as Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights. Now couple that with online play (i.e. literally, your brother in Greenland can play side-by-side with you), and you have what's called an MMORPG or Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game.

The digital world is huge, and includes NWN-style quests, a pseduo D&D engine, and it allows you to learn things such as fishing, cooking, and other trade skills like skinning & leatherworking, herbalism & enchanting, mining & blacksmithing, and etc. I chose leatherworking, since I'm a rogue and can only wear leather armor.

So when I'm not completing quests or slaying orcs, I'm skinning beasts, building leather goods (armor, belts, gloves, etc.), fishing, and cooking. And believe it or not, I have pulled up many-a-boot while fishing. Of course, these boots were enchanted and actually had value, but it was nice to see the Blizzard had a sense of humor.

I can't stop thinking about this game. I want to play it all the time. I wish Danielle would try it. I swear, if she gave the game 30 minutes, she too would be addicted. She won't give it 30 seconds. :(

Updates
I love album.pl (the webapp I use for my online photo album). By just uploading a simple text file to specific folders, I am able to customize the sorting of specific albums. Now, I keep all my photo albums listed from newest to oldest (2004 - 1934), as well as newest to oldest inside those album years, but the pics themselves stay in chronological order (oldest to newest) inside those albums. Pretty neat. This was a Dani request.

And the latest on the gaming front: I am an addict of World of Warcraft. I cannot get enough of this game. I need counseling.
